Die Dividende von 1,12$ wird nicht angetastet. Immerhin 8% Rendite.

The range for full year 2023 revenue is narrowed and lowered to $6.15 billion to $6.25 billion, which primarily reflects current foreign currency exchange rates, changes to the go-to-market model for Nexplanon, a slower uptake of Hadlima (adalimumab-bwwd) and macroeconomic factors in China.

The range for full year Adjusted EBITDA margin is now 30.5% to 31.5% to reflect a lower gross margin stemming from the impacts of foreign exchange on revenue, unfavorable product mix, and the timing of manufacturing costs.

Ist keine leichte Aktie. Der Gewinn geht stark zurück weil viel für Forschung und Entwicklung ausgegeben wird. Diese Logik verstehen viele Anleger nicht weil kurzfristige Gewinne erwartet werden. OGN hat eine tolle Pipeline aufgebaut die aber erst in 3-8 Jahren voll wirken kann. Bei Biosimilars geht es aktuell darum ein wichtiges Medikament Hadlima bei den Krankenkassen einzuführen und populär zu machen. OGN ist das richtig angegangen und setzt auf eine variable Dosierungsform. Eine wichtige Errungenschaft ist daß man erreicht hat die etablierten Medikamente für viele Jahre als Cash Cow verwenden zu können. Damit hat man einen beständigen über 1 Mrd $ schwere. Cash Flow der für Schuldenreduzierung, Dividende, Zukäufe gleichgewichtig verwendet wird.
Habe die sehr günstigen Kurse für einen Kauf genutzt.
Weiß aber es gibt keinen schnellen Erfolg und es kann noch weiter runter gehen vor allem dann wenn der Dollar deutlich steigen sollte. OGN hat einen hohen Auslandsanteil.

Ich habe um 300 Stück aufgestockt, weil ich die Resultate nicht negativ wahrgenommen habe.

Ohne den Währungseinfluss gab es ein geringes Wachstum, die Bruttomarge mit 62,3 % ist immer noch hoch.
Außerdem wurden Schulden mit 250 Millionen USD getilgt und der Ausblick 2023 bestätigt.

Auch die Dividende mit USD 0,28 im Quartal erscheint mir gesichert und interessant.

Habe mir 120 Stück gekauft, weil die Analystenkonferenz etwas Hoffnung gab.
Frauen sind ein schwieriges Geschäft.

Wall Street analysts think shares of Organon & Co. will get a boost this year from one of the most politically charged debates rampaging across the US: the fight over legal abortion.

Organon’s future growth is seen coming from high-demand for its Nexplanon long-term birth control product in states with restrictive policies, since contraceptives are better protected from legal and legislative risk than abortion pills.

“We expect growing awareness and Dobbs v. Jackson to drive further growth of Nexplanon, Organon’s long-acting reversible contraceptive, jewel in the crown and key stock driver,” said BNP Paribas analyst Navann Ty, referring to the 2022 Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and ruled that the US Constitution doesn’t protect a women’s rights to an abortion.

While Nexplanon is sold globally, its sales over the next decade are expected to boom in the US as more consumers seek out the product in areas of the country where abortion is heavily restricted.

Analysts say pressures on the company’s stock price are expected to wane this year as it reduces its debt It also is launching Hadlima, Organon’s first biosimilar drug for AbbVie’s autoimmune disease treatment Humira, which it developed with Samsung Bioepis. However, the shares have yet to reflect these upsides.
